Wilesco steam-powered tractor D416 kit

The D416 tractor kit includes detailed instructions. All connections are screwed together, and assembly of the tractor can be carried out by hobbyists and model building enthusiasts. The instructions guarantee simple and safe assembly.

This steam tractor, with its black paintwork and polished brass parts, was modeled by Wilesco after an original that was seen on our streets at the beginning of the 19th century. The original tractor was used to carry out agricultural and forestry work at that time. A wonderful model for collectors.

Wilesco tractor can be used mobile and stationary

The tractor can move forward and backward thanks to a flywheel that can be started in either direction. The boiler has a diameter of 45 mm and a length of 185 mm, giving it a capacity of 230 cm³. The brass boiler has been polished to a high gloss and nickel-plated. The accompanying water level indicator is designed as a sight glass, allowing visitors to closely observe the flow of steam. The tractor has a chain steering system and a gear clutch. Thanks to the disengageable gear transmission, the mobile steam engine can also be used as a stationary engine. It runs for approximately 15 minutes on one charge of our dry fuel Witabs.
