The legend returns!

The most powerful steam engine in the Wilesco range is being reissued after more than 40 years. The black lacquered base plate, combined with the gray-red drive plate and nickel-plated elements, gives the engine a distinctive look.

It is the first electrically heated steam engine with a smoking chimney and many other features that no other Wilesco steam engine offers. The temperature-resistant 1000 cm³ boiler is fired by an electric heater. The nickel-plated and polished boiler casing provides better insulation. The engine's operation is controlled via the elegant control panel. In addition to the boiler pressure, the flywheel speed can also be read off. This is unique in the Wilesco range.

The steam valve controls the steam supply to Wilesco's two largest self-starting units. The double-acting brass cylinders drive the permanently installed transmission shaft, which can be engaged via a mechanical clutch on the control panel. A 12 V generator and a mechanical water pump are also continuously driven. The pump draws water from a reservoir beneath the baseplate into the boiler. The water can also be drained directly at the pump through a valve. The machine operates completely cleanly. All condensate is collected in a sliding basin located centrally beneath the baseplate.

Wilesco produces this machine in a limited edition of 500 pieces.

Each piece receives a high-quality certificate with a serial number and is delivered in an elegant wooden box.
